RE: Waiting for a break out .......
RE: Waiting for a break out ....... Since crossing the threshold to sustainable profitability and with an increasing resource base at Cantung, no news is good news for NTC. Sustaining earnings of $6-8 million/qtr, translates to annual earnings of 12-20+ cents per share and means we're looking at a forward PE of 2.0 or lower if we continue to trade in the
.40 range.
I expect we'll be drifling slowly higher to the mid 50's in anticipation of Q2 results releasing at the end of May, in the absence of any other news, but I wouldn't expect the momentum to pick up till mid May. It's good to remember that last year's stock issue was priced at
.50. Any trades below that level must be viewed as a value add to a portfolio. Recent analyst targets of
.75 would likely be achievable by year end '12., so unless you're slowly accummulating this stock it's probably a good time to park your position.
Beware the temptation to sell in May.....etc, as the breakout potential based on Mactung news is a huge upside risk.
