RE: RE: The whine & the cheese I share your frustrations. I have spoken a number of times to Willie Lamarque about the complications with the SdN transaction. The issues that resulted from fraudelant actions, subsequently remedied by the courts, have created issues during AML's due diligence review. These have to be remedied, and it is taking time. The company would like nothing better than to be done woth SdN, with the proceeds directed to exploration. It is legal issues that must be addressed, not EC management negligence. Shareholder frustrations extend to the closing of the Condor transaction, again slowed by inernal issues arising with the buyer group - not EC. They have told Willie that the funds are in place, but not all their internal documents readied. Again, not EC management
I am not an apologist for the company. As a shareholder, I suffer with everyone else. But, knowing the source of the delays, I cannot scream at management. Nor can they remain patient much longer.
Willie Lamarque knows that, at some point, the company must quickly remedy these legacy issues to gain the funds to move forward. I am hopeful we will get a series of NR's fairly soon detailing the actions being taken to do so.
