RE: Equal Energy: Excessive CEO Compensation Though I agree wholeheartedly with this article, not sure it is currently helping the shareholders cause. The share price was sold down again this morning on higher than average volume....down nearly 6%. If the shareholders are publically bashing the company, why should there be any demand for the shares even after supposedly very solid news on a significant cash injection and derisking of the Mississippian assets. This was a very good move as Atlas has the drilling management capability and equal the operating capatility. Atlas also has much deeper pockets than equal so they will want to get the 90 wells drilled out over the next few years to the benefit of Equal if they can keep up their end of the financial committment. But the market is hesitant for a number of reasons.
