Spectacular drill results, ridiculous SP

Spectacular drill results, ridiculous SP

Several past press releases and comments by C. Gert have alluded to the possibility that Leprechaun may be even richer at depth. I never followed up on these suggestions because previous drilling had not really explored this possibility. I have spent the morning looking at other Canadian resources with similar profiles and learning about orogenic deposits. Call me crazy, but Detour Lake seems to have similar geology and structure to VL. An orogenic deposit with a steeply dipping sedimentary layer, overlayed by a deformation zone as the boundary. Gold found in quartz veins located in iron rich volcanic flows (trondjhemite??) with mafic dyke intrusions. A strike length of  2 km (LP to J. Frank) or more.

If interested you should view the Detour gold site. The drill results (depth, interval length, and grade) are strikingly similar to VL, especially today's results. Detour was first a shallow pit mine of 1-2 million oz. (sound familar). Further drilling that trended 3 km along strike to the west (sound familiar) and at depths below 150 m found millions of more ounces.

I know this is pure speculation, but even if a Detour type deposit is a long way from being proven, it may be possible. If anyone has more experience in this type of geology and can confirm or deny these similarities I would be very interested in your comments.
