Investing is dead

Investing is dead

I am 31 years old and have been investing for 5 years - this is a great stock but it doesn't matter the market and investing is dead.  Fundamental analysis means nothing at all and even if you make gains they can be wiped out in days like with this stock.  I guess that it ducks that it has taken me this long to realize this but if you can't buy and hold and the market does have any sense of rationality to it why invest.  This stock has to go up 50 percent from here just to get back to square one in a 100 a barrel oil environment where all the company has done is execute.

It's a game its not a sustainable process and I guess I am glad that I am learning this early enough to still have time to pay off my house and save for retirement.
