RE: RE: Flowsheet/mineplan ...

RE: RE: Flowsheet/mineplan ...

Thanks Joe. I think your observation helps bolster my thought of it being a 'tell' of some sort.

You make a couple great points ... first ... could have BCCed ... and I would add to that ... could have talked to them first before responding at all. Clearly Larry wasn't looking for a nod from them ... clearly Larry wasn't keeping the CC hidden from me as if he wasn't confident about his wording ... but just as clear is this time around ... Larry was inclined to CC those top level associates in alongside  my enquiry and his response.

Second ... your point on message dependant ... I would agree with that 100% ... some things are straight forward ... don't initiate a CC event ... while others might compel a CC to go out ... and why CC ... just so everybody is on the same page.

Suppose I was to go out and make a big deal about it on some investor forum ... misconstrue what was said ... throw around some major conjecture ...maybe even blast Connie like many here have done ... under that environment ... message dependant ... I think if I was Larry ... I would want other top level associates to have a record of what I had forwarded along with my own record.

Now I didn't misrepresent what the message was ... it was a direct quote ... nor am I misrepresenting the CC event ... it happened ... but ... I am interpreting it as a 'tell' of sorts. I'm sure Larry , Mike , and Judy wouldn't tip their hats to that interpretation ... that's for speculators give credence to or not.

I'll give you an example of a prior communication. When the company was awaiting results from the test plant ... there seemed to be a whole lot of jitters being reflected on this thread. I fired off an E-mail to Larry asking about when the test plant result could be expected. I phrased it as follows ... if all went well ... could investors expect the results within a week or two. Larry responded in short order ... his answer ... "this week". The very next day ... the results were released.

In that case ... Larry did not CC anybody (can't say if it was BCCed but highly doubt it) ... Larry didn't give the release date to me ... he gave a range ... it came out at the beginning of the range. Needless to say ... my confidence was bolstered with his response that day and I relayed the communication on this thread at that time.

Like I said ... I think there is something to the CC thing this time around. It is along the lines of your two points. There is a 'tell to be taken away from it in this case ... based on content and the backdrop of recent news and interviews.

I like Larry's approach ... and am not in favour of micro-scrutinizing his interview presence.

I do try to get a read on things ... encompassing my interpretation of news ... reports ... E-mail communications ... etc.

I look for 'tells' ... and I think I got a good one.

Nonetheless ... the flowsheet - mineplan was reported to be final draft ... I don't have to read anything into that ... it was in black and white.
