If there is not enough water on-site they will need to either:

1) Pipe some in (this will delay the project and increase capex/opex)

2) Fall back on open-pit mining (this will delay the project and increase capex/opex)

That's really all there is to it. Test water holes drilled previously had strong water flow and the basin is the lowest point (below sea level) for the surrounding region which means it's the drainage collection point for rainfall. Of course, an extended drought would deprive the basin of it's water until the drought ends.
