Nat. Gas VS. Lithium

Nat. Gas VS. Lithium

In march G.M. announced plans to produce a Silverado truck that could run off Nat. Gas. or conventional gasoline.  As I recall the market yawned and G.M. stock actually went down on the news. Nat. Gas prices keep finding new lows but consumers still cant get excited about these vehicles. Furthermore it's important to realize that only a small portion of the world has access to such low Nat. Gas prices. Electric cars will gain more and more market share every year in China were Nat. Gas isn't so cheap, and C.L.Q. will be there with high, battery grade lithium to serve them.

Even if we take the E.V. market out the picture the outlook is still promising for C.L.Q.  Lithium serves the electronics market. Aerospace Industry, and lets not forget my favorite, grid storage. Quebec is in the perfect position to store there cheap hydroelectric produced power and sell it at a premium.

Nat. Gas can not, and will not kill lithium. I to believe there will be oppurtunities in the future for Nat. Gas stocks, but I don't believe this takes lithium out of the big picture.  When some L.N.G. ports come on line then Nat. Gas stocks will return to their former glory. The price of Nat. Gas will go back up, and vehicles powered by Nat. Gas will be forgotten.
