"Andrea Rubakovic, Salman Partners (4/16/12) "Allana Potash Corp. wants to buy its own shares: This morning, the company, a developer of the Danakil potash deposit in Ethiopia, announced its intention to repurchase up to 10% or 19,314,862 of its common shares in the public float through a Normal Course Issuer Bid, subject to TSX approval. . .[the press release states] 'the repurchase of common shares. . .presently constitutes an appropriate use of financial resources and would be in the best interest of Allana shareholders.' We tend to agree with the board!"
