Halifax, Nova Scotia CANADA, April 18, 2012 /FSC/ - Mountain Lake Resources Inc (MOA - TSX Venture, MLKRF - OTC Pink),is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Woodward to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Woodward is Vice President, Woodward Group of Companies; President, Labrador Motors Limited; and President, Markland Realty Limited.

The Woodward Group of Companies is a diversified family-owned business based in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. Its interests are primarily in rural Newfoundland and Labrador with ventures in the eastern Arctic. The Woodward Group has significant interests in oil distribution, automotive, marine ferries, coastal supply tankers, military contracting, and real estate. Woodward's Oil has been serving the home heating fuel and gasoline requirements of Labrador customers since the early 1960's. The Group of Companies employs in excess of 800 people in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Mr. Woodward has previously served as chair of Labrador Health Corporation, Chair of Labrador College and Chair of the Premier's Advisory Council. He has also previously served on the Board of F.P. Resources and on the board of Newfoundland Power.
