RE: possible consolation

RE: possible consolation

It is my personal opinion that certain people in the know purposefully created a panic sell on DAY-T.

Driving down the price to ridiculously low levels, weeks before a buy-out?

Come on... someone had to know that a takeover was in the works!

I'd really like to know why trading on DAY-T in the lead-up to the takeover isn't being investigated by the OSC.

Regarding PPY.A - if indeed a takeover is in the works, then I hope the same jakkasses who shorted the heck out of DAY-T, aren't allowed to manipulate PPY.A in the same fashion.   Of course, my cynical side tells me that is exactly just what might happen.... unfortunately.

As investors, I really hope most PPY.A shareholders don't sell-out to the vultures who want to purchase on the cheap before a takeover deal is announced.

(For disclosure, I've been averaging into PPY.A over the past few weeks on the philosophy of buy low/sell high - so I plan to hold for a little while longer - being fully cognisant of the depressed Nat Gas prices, hence the buying low part of the equation).
