Today's NR I think it is very positive that the Board of Directors feels that YNG's growth is advanced enough to have outsiders look at strategic avenues. That tells me that positive cash flow is in hand or near at hand. The thousand foot view for what it's worth is that with positive cash flow and a hard to replace asset like Jerritt mill working at optimal levels the other big mill players could decide to seriously kick tires. I would prefer to have the positive cash flow appear and boost the share price a bunch before the serious discussions get too far advanced. But the reality for regular Joe longs is that big major and inner shareholders are in at very cheap levels of shares and warrants and options. If they get motivated to move their big positions at a certain level with a giant return because of shear size and low cost base then the rest of the little guys get pulled along screaming in pain or not.
The positive is that we are getting to a new level of interest and hopefully increasing respect from the market.
The other positive is that I don't see the share number outstanding playing a big part for some group buying the company outright. If they decide to buy they will buy the shares each and every one of them. Let's just hope the share price the big guys want to receive is a big premium over recent prices.
If the company decides to stay as YNG then the share capitalization would become a focus for future financing or listing issues.
