I wouldn't assume NCF shares will be spun out to GXM shareholders as they only mentioned this as an option. If they do go this route, GXM will instantly get pounded down to a 0.01 (cash value) the moment its shares go ex dividend meaning a severe rollback would be in the cards. If they opt to hold NCF as a passive investment instead, I'd argue we are no better off as the co would not be able to exit this investment for many years. IMHO, they appear to be damned either way. Personally, I am seriously thinking of cutting the cord, taking the tax loss now and buying NCF shares with the proceeds instead of waiting for several more months for approval and closing of this transaction.

BTW, I still have a little of this left after buying in years ago. Almost forgot all about it. Anyway, saw the news regarding the sale. This article may be of some use to you all.
