Hangover Hell Well, a few words about the state of gold stocks with a focus on the juniors.
Usually when you get a hangover, you've had one heck of a party first. But who can look at their portfolios now, generally with large paper losses, and say, "Well, my stocks are down but that was one helluva run"? Hence, the temporary hangover without the party! My point: The boom (or party) hasn't started yet.
I'm not going to blather about our specific properties because we all know the great potential we have. So what is the key to a higher share price?
True, a successful drill program at the High would be a game changer. A solid announcement by HDI on their Tennyson plans, if any, and/or capital contribution to Teuton's treasury would also be a big plus.
Still, to me, the Seabridge-Pretium complex is the key and there are two major events that need to be imminent to get our SP off the mat. 1) National Transmission Line... 2) MINING getting underway at the VOK.
JJBanks correctly points out that there have been long intervals between staking, exploration and bringing a project to production historically, but I think it's very clear that Pretivm is going to do just that in two years. MINING and cheap hydro power; it's happening in two years, and the run-up in our SP will start earlier as markets are forward looking.
All Teuton shareholders are, in effect, part owners of some of the most soon-to-be prime real estate in the world. I think time is definitely on our side.
