Teh only thing holding the US from collapsing is that the US dollar and treasuries are the best of all in the worst case scenario. when and if Europe gets its act together and things get resolved, China starts to show a robust growth again, then the USA will be in a lot of trouble too. I know there are cities in the US that have declared bankruptcy.
Truly an ugly picture right now. But that is not to say the STARS cannot shine in all this darkness.
