Rosa While $10k a month plus options seems high - I would surely work for that - they do know a lot about the company if you call investor relations. Investor relations for many companies is just an answering service where they relay the questions to the CEO and get back with you a week later.
For $10k a month KIN should help put together a powerpoint or pdf presentation to promote the company and maybe even make a video. Typically I haven't seen IR take the responsibility for driving trading volume. I don't know why everyone is harping on KIN for that. Perhaps Sandstorm was the one driving volume to NDX rather than some previous investor relations outfit.
I spoke with KIN today and was pleased to hear the Rosa finer grade wash plant upgrade is in the final testing stages if I remember correctly. With mining you never know that means - but what I got was it more likely gets installed Q2 instead of Q3. We should get a PR when it goes live. That wash plant upgrade for Rosa is VERY important for cash flow. Just last Q they took a $1.6M writedown on the coal they set aside to re-run through the new wash plant. I expect the writedown Q1 for the same to be horrendous. Though it should be a cash flow positive quarter it could easily be a huge EPS loss if they write down the fine grade coal they set aside. I have no idea why they are impairing it when they are keeping it.
In addition with the Rosa wash plant upgrade we should get at least a small production boost from 10k tons per month to something higher. If they have the spare capacity to run extra wash plant shifts there will be a ton of extra revenue above the $5.4M we expect quarterly from Rosa as they process the fine grade backlog in addition to the normal production - that is my speculation anyway.
They are making good progress it seems. I'm not willing to be the farm until I see a sturdier footing, but Rosa could be a cash monster that gets Rex going with no more dilution.
