Cameco Corporation is engaged in providing uranium fuel to generate clean, reliable baseload electricity around the globe. The Company also offers nuclear fuel processing services, refinery services and manufactures fuel assemblies and reactor components. Its segments include uranium, fuel services and Westinghouse. The uranium segment is involved in the exploration for, mining, milling, purchase and sale of uranium concentrate. The fuel services segment is involved in the refining, conversion and fabrication of uranium concentrate and the purchase and sale of conversion services. The Westinghouse segment is engaged in the nuclear services businesses. Its uranium projects include Millennium, Yeelirrie, and Kintyre. The Cree Extension-Millennium project is a Cameco-operated joint venture located in the southeastern portion of Canada's Athabasca Basin. The Yeelirrie deposit is located approximately 650-kilometer (Km) northeast of Perth and about 750 km south of its Kintyre project.

True the day  JP came out the whole sector popped. UUU jumped up over $.30 that day. That day the direction came from USA.  The volumes in USA & Canada are at par. You have to look at the data of all Canadian exchanges. USA has the largest U ETF.  In URA,  CCO is the largest holding. The trades related to URA are process in USA. There are few Canadian U ETF & Mutual funds plus in addition to U funds CCO is part of various other Canadian  funds & indices.

CCO is clearly following Canadian trading pattern. Place the chart of TMX with CCO. Both have very ugly charts & are trading under 200 ma. While US indices are moving in a very different direction.

I find that in general the eventual direction for CCO come from TMX & not US indices. I trade the whole Canadain U sector. Trade CCO from time to time as declining trend stock. For CCO I take direction from TMX & not USA excahnges & it works.
