RE: RE: RE: RE: CIBC big seller of CCO maybe the s Canadian volumes at times are bit on the higher side. There is too much of HFT on both sides & arbitrage trading to eliminate any discrepancy in prices. On certain days you can have a large buyer or sell on either side. Most of the volume is generated by computers with the size of lots under 1000 shares. On US side it is difficult to identify the brokers & the pattern while it is easier on Canadian side.
I am not a buy & hold investor. I am a short term trader. For swing trading I might hold stocks for short term period of time at certain prices. Among the U sector. My favourite stock is UUU in U sector. Has better chart offers more bang for the buck. I follow the trading pattern / charts of the stocks that I trade very closely. I end up trading CCO too because it is the grand daddy of U sector & does influence all U stocks including UUU. Because of UUU I had to track CCO & TMX index for direction. I place the market book & charts of CCO & UUU together.
USA is very big market as far as the size of total market & volume of money. If & when U308 prices move higher US volumes will play a very big role in moving the stock higher when money starts to move into U sector. Till then in a range bound sector money can only be made by trading the sector. Dividend yield of 1.88 %of CCO is nothing exciting when you can lose a huge chuck of its value in a short time.
