cars have nothing to do with the price of lithium in so far as battery economics is concerned.

look around,

compare today with 15 years ago,

cell phones,

cordless drills - i own three

labtops and electronic products,

now think of china, india, south america, africa

they are just beginning to use cordless drills and such.

go to a construction site - what is needed the most - space to charge all the cordless drills.

trades guys used to have one - now they have an impact driver, cordless, mini drill, saws and a drawer full of batteries - they can't survive without them.

cars......that would just be a bonus.
