RE: Rio Tinto Getting out of Coal Projects What's going to happen is many of the large and mid-tier players are going to limit production and cause some shortages of coal in the back half of this year and going forwad.....IMO!
It's just not worth it for the big players to limit margins due to increasing costs etc, so IMO you will see short falls as a result...which will increase prices and allow for sustained higher prices for a while in order to open their pockets in the future....................The games countries are playing with pricing will be ending shortly.......it's what NA natural gas companies should have did.....but instead they produce more from FRAC and now gas is given away with production in liquid..........coal comes from a few and they will close the doors and get the price higher IMO........
