RE: Thoughts.....

RE: Thoughts.....

Wow isn't this a tough one ... I kind of agree in part with most that is being posted here !

As someone who has traded for quite sometimes and endured numerous split or consoladation of shares I have to admit that I have never come out ahead in any of them ! but Richard is correct when he sais the circumstances were different the last time it split  however it was still a split which puts a bad taste in everyones mouth as was evident also in the reaction in the share price today !

I must be honest that I was a bit set back when the statement was made on the podcaste about the posibility of a split. Who was it that mentioned that ? that they  had always made that public ? I have contacted the office on several occasions as well and heard that Baldock rather wanted to grow the comapany into the number of shares. Now having said that things have changed as well ... I don't think anyone dreamed how bad the condition of the mill was and how much it would affect production legals and how long and how much money it would take to get it where it is today.

so are any of the large shareholders / board members sitting on this as well ? that would make me feel better as they have a vested in terest in the outcome ... their shares are on the line as well and even though many of us hold a lot of shares our investment is nothing compared to theirs ... so I would be interested if they had a vote and trust more that it would really be in the best interest of the shareholders if they did a split ...

I personally don't like the idea ! I am not convinced it is in the best interest of the shareholders but we will only know if it happns ... Had more to say but have to run ...

Best to all
