1 cent days

1 cent days

About 8.3 million shares traded in two days. 2.5 million ask at 1 cent this morning. Should get past the 10 million shares traded I want to see for this week. Other than that 10,000 1/2 cent trade on Monday on Alpha, the stock is not going any lower than 1 cent. Ideally it should, albeit briefly for a few trades for a proper doji to form. If the stock can close at 1.5 cents on Friday (which it has a chance), I will be even more bullish. It doesn't matter if the stock drops for the following weeks. The foundation would have been set with 2 doji's on volume.

Following the successful sign-ons in Prince George, now yesterday the two dealerships in Nanaimo. This is the way to do it. Definately keep the full time BC representative. Group sign-ons within a geographic area is best for car dealerships and not one at a time.

Futura will deal with the various issues at hand in due coarse. I think a new cycle is coming for most junior stocks. The theory is, the more promising deals get done earlier in the cycle while the marginal ones get done later.

Fabrice Taylor in the Globe today Page B13 says that junior mining stocks have had a disconnect between their market cap and their net present values. Sure there are the world problems, but also many stocks have diluted themselves and now are unable to raise money. If you can't raise money at the right price, you've got nothing, he says.

He associates excessive dilution and shareholder capitulation, with the beginning of a new cycle. I assume rollbacks will be common in 2012. What has the mining sector to do with Futura? There are parallels with dilution and raising money. Is Futura now undergoing a capitulation sell-off? The point where some investors (Anonymous for example) are saying "no more", thus paving the way for the stock to move up based on a longer term vision for the company.

Time will tell. But for now I want the volume to be between 10-15 million shares traded this week as I wanted in an earler post. Almost there. It's important to have that volume and a higher closing this week.
