8 million jobs?
8 million jobs? Love all the good news about this co.; the higher OpEx revealed by the BFS is predictable given price of oil and steel these days. Look at the cost overruns for Baja Mining's copper mine in Mexico.
But as for that article by the Koreans yesterday, surely that must be a typo about the "8 million jobs". S.Korea only has a population of nearly 49 M people.
I would surmise it's 8,000 people at the very most who will be employed by the Sangdong mine and plant.
Obviously other businesses and new business opportunities will be positively affected, and thus indirectly a good number of other jobs will be created, as we gather from that Korean article.
