RE: RE: RE: RE: Insider sells..... I understand how you feel. There are good profits here to be made. Many will sell and take their profit. Nothing wrong with that. That's the prudent, cautious investor. Others will hold for potentially higher rewards and take on the associated risk of doing that. It's a personal preference. It can cause the roller coaster ride of the emotions you are experiencing. You are not alone, as many others are thinking and re-thinking as you are.
Personally, I think GTA has better than average potential to build significant tonnage (and ounces). Drilling to date has been confined to a small area. This mineralized area has a much greater extent than what they have drilled to date (both in terms of depth and strike potential). It will take a lot of cash to drill off an area before they produce a resource worthy of their first preliminary resource. They are well equiped to drill for two months. I believe the inside selling is going to an investor (individual, company or institution - not sure yet). An earlier comment suggested this same buyer will participate in a future placement. I agree. I think we will see that happen sometime in June, once they have greater than 10% of the company. I suspect the buyer will be a long term player - a visionary that sees a good return on their investment once a resource is announced in late fall.
If they can prove up greater than 1M ounces by the fall, and show good potential at depth and strike to significantly exapnd upon that, they will be a target for a buy-out (as TRR was this week). Because junior shares are in the dumps and the majors need new reserves, it will make for an opportune time for the majors to look at acquisitions and mergers this year. Companies like Rainy River are in this basket now. GTA may be in the same basket in 6 months.
If GTA was my company, and my next few drill holes push the stock to $2, I would do a PP for 10-15M shares at $2 and put $20-30M in the kitty. It would make for a cash rich junior trading less than 50M shares. Not sure if I can;t count on one hand juniors currently in that position in the country.
