Byron capital talking lithium

Byron capital talking lithium

CLQ is not in the picture yet with Byron but soonit will be. Please note what I highlighted in bold because it;s like music to an investor ear.

SmallCapPower.com: What’s the supply and demand picture for lithium look like right now?

Jonathan Lee: The supply and demand dynamics currently favor the suppliers in the sense that demand has out-stripped supply over the last year. Two companies – Talison Lithium Ltd. (TSX:TLH) and FMC Corp. (NYSE:FMC) –are in the process of expanding their operations. And three of the four biggest lithium producer shave announced price increases for lithium products. Those are Talison, FMC and Chemetall, a subsidiary of Rockwood Holdings Inc. (NYSE:ROC). So we’ve seen prices increasing over the past year partly because input costs have gone up, but mostly because demand has outstripped supply.
