Very interesting idea.  The stock would get an immediate boost from doing this, have you heard of any other companies that have raised additional money in this way?  I think the costs involved in doing this may be higher than extending the already issued warrants?

The major drawback of this would be the timing compared to just issuing more shares in which the money would be received immediately.
