Theory?

Is it possible that the news is quiet on POET for fears of some hostile buying? I've seen this happen before where once a company/product reached a threshold of enough patents/research/beta testing etc, the sudden mass buying began. I would imagine that the IB is being very careful in its approach to potential suitors for this very reason, if they've made an approach at all.

I would suggest that the company and shareholders alike would want to stay as far away from some hostile buying as possible.
