In Chris Hoggs first Ubika CEO interview(that is no longer on line) he said that the workers make a circular trip on payday. ATM machine to get the money, Local conveinience store to top-up their cell phones, then off to the money transfer house to send what ever is left back home.

Mint now owns that loop.
