My call for new jobs would be 100-120k, maybe as low as 90k and that's not because of anything other than the weak economic data over the last month. That would be a miss and I would expect the POG to rise and take gold equities with it.  

3 of the 4 largest short position increases on the TSX are gold stocks and solid ones. My take on this is that the gold players will be selling off gold in the near future in a big way. ABX being the largest I would expect that to sell off like the rest of gold equities prior to the push. Only thing that may stop it is a bad jobs report.
