I'd like to think that you and Romara are correct. However, the whole point of the NR was to announce the departure of the Board chairman, not to revise their mission statement.

They will "continue to support our management team which remains focused on operations and cash flow growth at Jerritt Canyon, our gold producing property in Nevada," in other words, business as usual.

Doesn't mean that they won't entertain other options while they focus on their bread and butter issues.

 

Unless you're privy to inside info whereby the Chairman was encouraged to leave because of a philosophical conflict, any attempt to read more into this blurb is just wishful speculation. It would be nice, but it likely ain't true.
