Drill Targets
I suspect Strike will have good luck at locating the western extension of the Afric zone. Noranda drilled two gold intersections in drill hole NR-9 just 70 meters east of the Strike/GTA boundary. This hole intersected 11.6 meters of 2.4 g/t gold and 22.5 meters of 0.78 g/t gold. Cyprus Canada interpreted the strike of the Afric zone wrong, and as a result, drileld too far north when looking for the west extension.
There are two other known zones that will carry over onto the STK property (#4 zone and #3 zone). The #4 zone has seen limited drilling and has intersected 7.3 g/t gold over 4.0 meters. Stripping by Cyprus of this zone on the STK property has shown gold in outcrop. The #3 zone has only seen one drill hole by Noranda (19.9 g/t gold over 5.0 meters). There is a high-grade outcrop of 57.6 g/t gold within this zone a short distance from the STK property. The #3 zone strikes more easterly, while the #4 and Afric zones are parallel NE-SW structures.
There lies good potential to the south of the #3 zone. A grab sample of 16.8 g/t gold lies close to the STK boundary.
Even more importantly are two separate areas of channel sampling that are within the STK property. One area near the boundary (on the STK side) assays 4.1 g/t gold over 5.5 meters. A second area about 250 meters to the west assays 3.4 g/t gold over 4.0 meters. These latter two showings are within felsic volcanic rocks, while the other areas mentioned previously are in quartz porphyry.

If I was running the program for Strike, I would drill two 400 meter deep 'fence' holes along the GTA boundary at an azimuth of 320 degrees and a 60 degree dip. One would be collared at 479550E, 5401350N, and the other at 479550E, 5401000N. I would also drill a third shorter (200 meter) hole on the most westerly target at 479300E and 5401175N.
While the quartz porphyry, hosting the Afric, #4 and #3 zones, is the primary target for locating bulk tonnage, some of the quartz vein systems within the syenite (like the old Northshore workings) can be show mineable widths as well.
Good luck to Strike in their drilling.

p.s. I would have attached a map, but I don't know how to do it in here.
