The market is indeed often inefficient, but I have rarely seen it so disconnected from the fundamentals; I believe the market will gradually come around as EQU advances in the strategic review process, and if the market doesn't catch up, eventually the review will conclude and the market will have to react.
I agree Botterill is a definite positive, I spoke with him a day prior to the review announcement and he seemed quite tuned to investors concerns, I believe he will conclude the process to our benefit. Indeed the market for O&G stocks is not helping, but we are so undervalued even by using the industry current depressed multiples we are still extremely cheap.
When I started activist effort, few people believed that it would actually lead to a strategic review, and they have been proven wrong. Right now few seem to believe that the strategic review will unlock value to the $6-$7 level; I believe they will be proven wrong again.
