That is all a geologist needs to know to send rock to the lab. While the grades are unknown, you are not oing to assay a plain grey core first, for example when its neighbour is black and vuggy. There is nothing sinister about that --it just makes good sense when time is at a premium.
Negativity is fine in small doses, but let's not forget the big picture. We may well have a decent deposit with potential for expansion in Majiri Bomba, Kwadijava and other geochemical anomalies to the northwest. The mining world is full of stories where the satellite deposit outshone the original discovery.
I don't know about yours, but my glass is half full.
