PIMCO New York Municipal Income Fund III (the Fund) is a non-diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to seek to provide current income exempt from federal and California income tax. Under normal circumstances, the Fund invests at least 90% of its net assets in municipal bonds which pay interest that is exempt from regular federal, New York State and New York City income. The Fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in investments, the interest on which is subject to the federal alternative minimum tax. The Fund also invests at least 80% of its net assets in municipal bonds that at the time of investment are investment grade quality. Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO) serves as the Fund's investment manager.

I see your reasoning chopper1953.  You make a reasonable point.

0.095$ is really a cheap entry point.  I will put a bid but I don't think that it will get filled at that price because I cannot see any savvy investor unloading at these prices.  Having said that I am certain that there are a few "players" who throw money on stocks on whims.  Such people will see a small loss on paper and unload.

 

Generally speaking I believe  that the Poynt management is doing a pretty good job.  Of course there are certain things that could be done better.  But I feel convinced that they are doing their best.

 

Yves joined not too long ago and I am not certain as to his function and exactly how effective he really is.  According to his resume he brings lots of skills and contacts (and very little bs I hope). 

But the fact remains that Poynt is a stellar play and is going places.  ddubs75  reminded us that we should be getting an update on patent enforcement and I will hold and accumulate.  There are so many positives with this stock and I rather be patient than foolish.
