Usually when a company is for sale, but a deal doesn't occur, its because the bid and ask are too far apart.
WFE is a $10 stock - why would mgmt sell for less? There really isn't any incentive for them to do so, when they can reasonably expect the share price to get there on its own once markets come to their sences, in a year or so - and at that time, this firm will likely have much higher cash flow and reserves per share, making $10 a cheap figure.
I don't know what mgmt is asking, but it may be something like 12-14ish for all I know........certainly a case could be made for a value in that range..............if so, I can see why a deal is unlikely, unless someone like Sinopec were to take an interest.
