RE: RE: RE: GTA: STRONG BUY, Part 3c, Section 1, S Thanks Chattyc. I've never really been a big market player. The majority of the shares I hold are from option deals. My forte is really prospecting and acquisition of land - mostly in the Schreiber-Hemlo belt, which I have been pursuing now since 1989. I'm positioned to do fairly well here as I have optioned out a dozen properties in the belt since the GTA announcement, and have an additional 25,000 acres available yet, should the area continue to heat up, as I believe it will.
The Schreiber side of the belt has always had a lot more gold on surface than the Hemlo side, yet has seen less attention, mostly due to access (and ruggedness) of the area. I am quite certian as this area play builds, there will be many more discoveries. The Terrace Bay batholith contact, in particular, will be sure to hold additional gold zones as it is explored. This favourable contact stretches from GTA's afric zone in the west to the properties of Alto Ventures (Empress) and Galahad Metals (Kellyn) in the east. large sections of overburden along this trend have obscured bedrock and are only going to be located thru soil and IP surveys followed by drilling. These efforts have not been undertaken to date.
Other strong structural controls in the area (such as the fault that runs from the Otisse Mine (Strike Minerals) up through the Schreiber-Pyramid property (again held by Strike) are important features. Bard Ventures has recently found very high grade gold along this NW trend. Other areas to the north have large porphyry bodies (like those that GTA have) and are held by Xtrata and Apella Resources. Additional porphyries are in this area that have never been explored.
There is just so much potential here. I believe that with all this smoke there will be some fire found. Perhaps GTA will build enough tonnage from the Afric zone, to make it the first modern day mine in the area. This summer/fall will be very exciting for Schreiber, as more companies announce ground in this part of the belt. Three other companies I have recently optioned property to will be announcing their acquisitions soon. Good luck to all.
