On the one hand & on the other hand Talking about Mount Kellett, what they do in the short term will be visible to all.
On the one hand, Mount Kellett has a reputation to uphold. That sinister reputation has been articulated and speculated upon by many posters (including yours truly) over the past six months. Will their financial assistance to Baja, be secondary to financially assisting themselves?
On the other hand, Mount Kellett has a reputation to uphold within the investment community. Their four Baja BOD directors have a fiducuiary duty to all Baja shareholders. Will this duty result in minimal share capital dilution; result in no modification to the Baja Shareholders' Rights Plan; and result in the Senior Debt holders releasing future debt down draws?
I think that I know who has the upper hand, but I do not know how this hand will be played. Neither do you. We shall all wait and pray for five aces. Patience is a virtue. So is honesty when there is no other way.
On the one hand, if it is five aces we shall once again see $1.00 this year. A royal flush will see 60¢ a share. On the other hand, if the winning hand is one pair or a high card, the game is over for the retail shareholder.
Hands down, Mount Kellett will win. If no underhand dealing takes place we may yet all be winners. On the one hand I remain cautiously optimistic and on the other hand I remain realistically pessimistic.
Remember what the Bard of Avon wrote: "The fairest hand I ever touch'd! o beaurty" King Henry VIII: 1, iv.

Doug.
