Yes it was Mike I knew (the pilot).  The area north of Inmet you mentioned I presume was Big Duck Lake.  I own all those claims now once Stares let them lapse (not on purpose I don't think).  I knew Bernie well and he was THE BEST Ministry geologist I ever knew.  Supported the prospectors 110%.  Very knowledgeable guy of the area.  I owe a lot of my earned knowledge to Bernie, as well as my grandfather and his friend David Bell.  Dave gave me his complete library of OGS-GSC reports a few years back.  They were quite valuable until the Ministry started putting all their reports online.  Still nice to have though.

I think Strike will do quite well in this area, as they own most of the old mines and showings.  My only fear is that they will need a lot of money to bang holes into all of them.  I'm still rather disappointed they decided to drill the Harkness Hays property prior to the Afric Zone extension.  I don't think they will get the widths they need at Harkness to move the share price.

The Afric zone and the felsic volcanics to the south have better potential for greater widths.  Oh well, let's see what they get I guess.
