Good News For All Social Media Sites

Good News For All Social Media Sites

The good news for all social networking sites is

That there is no fear that advertising dollars are going to drop off in the near future.

The IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) reported that in 2011 revenues soared to $31bn a jump of 22 over 2010 (which had also broken ad spend records). The numbers are on a steep upward trajectory through the year with the fourth quarter of 2011 at $9bn, representing a 15% increase over the previous quarter. Much of this growth arrives as mobile advertising begins to get a foothold in the online market. PriceWaterhouseCoopers, who prepared the IAB report identified 2011 as the year mobile advertising “became a meaningful category.” (SOURCE)
