For some reason Europe is in such disarray, crisis seeming to last forever and ppl are so ignorant that they have this pre-conceived idea that US dollar is a safe place to store your $.

Don't ppl read and listen to the news and know that US is also in deep economical trouble. American stock markets are also starting to feel the pinch and headed lower which will probably create QE3 and subsequent money-printing in the future, thus having very little value to the dollar.

I can imagine now in a few years a loaf of bread will be $10 and some people still wouldn't be scratching their heads asking what the hell is going on here.
