RE: CMK call to shareholder action Someone today posted basically that the small shareholders won't be able to effect change. I might suggest that based on the people who have PM'ed me there are 150,000+ shares that have voted to 'withold' your vote to the re-election of current board (thanks to those that have confidentially told me they will withold their votes on the election of the slate of directors and advised on the # of shares they hold).
If others wish to do the same and PM me I will keep all responses confidential and only provide an update on total shares that are being withheld. If there are enough 'small time' shareholders it may become a larger point to make.
The AGM will be fun to watch and see those asking the tough questions of the board and management. Of course CMKwill not webcast the AGM and Bates will likely have his back to shareholders as he did last year in making his address at the inner circle table with the board - so what, shareholders will speak their minds at this AGM and next year will put forth a formal slate of alternate board members. I will be in touch with the portfolio managers at RBC who had previously held significant positions in CMK. Best regards, mski
