Riddle This!!!!! Is it IR or friend of IR?

Riddle This!!!!! Is it IR or friend of IR?

The coming weeks should prove to be very exciting for North American Gem.

The company is active in three North American areas of coal exploration,

Of which two are in near production stages.

In Saskatchewan, North American Gem has been granted 757 Coal Prospecting Permits
covering an area of 1,436,500 acres that have already

been already been approved by Saskatchewan Energy and Resources.

Extremely exciting is NAG's "West Virginia Bituminous"
and the "Kentucky Blue Gem" coal projects,
which are both close to production.

In West Virginia, coal was intersected in each of the holes drilled earlier this year.
The April 6th, 2009, NAG news release stated

Coal was intersected on Hole 1 of the Dalton Tract
at 65 feet 2 inches to a bottom depth of 68 feet 8 inches
giving a coal thickness of 3 feet 6 inches.
Coal was intersected on Hole 2 of the Dalton Tract
at a depth of 10 feet 6 inches to a bottom depth of 13 feet
giving a coal thickness of 2 feet 6 inches.
Further coal was intersected at a depth of 143 feet 3 inches to a depth of 146 feet 6 inches
for a thickness 3 feet 3 inches.
On the Saffle Tract
coal was intersected at a depth of 41 feet 5 inches to a bottom depth of 44 feet 5 inches
giving a seam thickness of 3 feet.”

The Blue Gem Coal in Kentucky is another area of near future production for NAG.
North American Gem recently acquired the ABGSC Leases,
that have an upcoming permit application submitted for mining.
The application, that takes between 2 and 3 months for approval
by the Department of Natural Resources in Frankfort, Kentucky,
and was applied for at the end of June 2009.

Blue Gem coal mining is VERY LIMITED in production.
There were only "SIX" Blue Gem mines in operation worldwide (at the end of 2005).

Due to the limited supply and great demand of Blue Gem coal,

there is the ability to “almost” set ones “own price” on the spot market,

although generally the Blue Gem coal price is approximately double
the price of regular coal.

Coal is very complex, and there are many types available throughout
different regions of the world.
There are other types of coal burn at very high temperatures like Blue Gem coal,

but they are different if other areas.
In Poland they have "Staszic Coal", which can be burned at high temperatures,

but is high in mineral inclusions.
In Australia there is the "Peak Downs Coal", that also burns at high temperatures,

but has a very high amount of ash.

Blue Gem Coal is primarily used in the refining of silicon.
Silicon is used around high temperatures, because of its high melting point
that is accommodated by Blue Gem Coal.
This makes this type of coal very unique, since Silicon Smelting
has to contain very low amounts of trace elements and ash.

Silicon is a very good semi-conductor, so its absolutely necessary in the electronic industry.
Silicon usage includes:
mini electronic circuits, computer chips,
and photovoltaic cells for harnessing solar energy (solar cells),
along with the production of about 5000 associated products.

What has been of particular note as of late,
is Silicon being used to advance lithium battery life.

Silicon has a higher capacity than carbon, so its been suggested that it holds
a major role in the FUTURE of the lithium battery industry.
Of course this has major growth attached to it with the ongoing development
of lithium batteries in Electric Cars.
Recent advancement with the use of silicon has a laptop that now runs on
a 2 hour lithium battery charge, having the ability of operating 20 hours using
Silicon Nano wires.
The Technology Review website
(found at https://www.technologyreview.com/energy/21750/ )

shows that the new Silicon technologies can double the range of an electric vehicle.

The new Silicon technologies will definitely result in an increased demand for
Silicon refinement.
Although there are other coals that can be used in the Silicon Smelting process,

the best process for the greatest silicon recovery,
is with Blue Gem Coal.

Near production of Blue Gem Coal, the advancement of Bituminous Coal production

In West Virginia, as well as the massive high potential exploration lands in Saskatchewan,
make North American Gem one of the best coal exploration companies,

with the greatest upside potential for its share price.
