RE: Jatayu-1 soon...

Pan Orient Energy continued operations in the Jatayu 1 wildcat in the Citarum PSC, located in onshore West Java, in late April 2012. The well has reached a depth of 1,883m. The upper 800m of the well penetrated a thick volcaniclastic sequence resulting into slower penetration rates. Drilling is expected to be completed within the next 15 to 20 days. The well was spudded on 21 March 2012 using the “ETP No.2” land rig and has a PTD of 2,656m. It will target the Middle to Upper Miocene Parigi carbonate, anticipated at 2,200mVD.
