RE: 2nd update We have producing zones in the 1st well... tests will tell how much. That is where the real news is. This last clarification doesn't help that much IMO. but then again I'm not drilling the SOB. Between the two wells we should be producing something and I can't help but think positive. I'm sure all our questions of why not drilling to TD will be answered soon and hopefully better described than "The well in the Dharoor valley hit a metamorphic basement at a depth of 3,430 meters, ... Basement is the rock layer below which economic oil or natural gas reservoirs are unlikely to be found." to
Quick Question... Are there not multiple "basements" according to that definition in a well w/ multiple producing zones? I live in TX and the well we are drilling out here have depth severances due to different formations... I mean really.. they found the Eagleford play in hte 70's and thought it was Austin Chaulk. according to the definition of a basement, is there not a basement between these two formations..?

There are multiple examples of many producing zones from surface down to wolfberry in the Permian Basin.. I'm probably not educated enough to understand why they didn't drill to TD, but the 2nd Update doesn't shed light on anything IMO.
If I sound a little p*ss3d I apalogize. I usually am not this loose when investing and when the major partners and the President of the country that the well is being drilled in leak news for days that all say the same thing... I loaded up. It looked like a duck, it quacked like a duck, it was a MF Goose... who knew
