I believe this thing dropped to about 50 cents in the 2008 crash.  I suspect it is pretty close to the bottom of the current downturn.

On the negative side their last drill results were underwhelming.  But they have a lot more cracks at the bat with their large drill program.

This reminds me a little of Trade Winds Ventures.  They owned a stake in a gold deposit adjacent to the Detour Mine.  They languished for years but I believe they finally got bought out for some gain after years and years of nothing happening.

Here the counterpart to the Detour Mine is Eleonore.  The main difference between this and the Detour situation is that both the main asset (Eleonore) and the satellite asset (Clearwater) are far higher grade than what they have at Detour.  Also, Eastmain has some other assets besides Clearwater, primarily Eastmain Mine.

In the long run as gold gets more and more mined out around the world Eastmain's assets become more attractive.  Of course, if they can find more gold and better yet good grade gold then that would help too.
