RE: Going to be an interesting week The concerns expressed by some posters could well be exaggerated. They see only as far as today with the 1/2 cent stock and contemplate the worse. Advantex (another Aeroplan reseller) is a 1/2 cent stock and is beginning to show profits. I suppose they have debt and other things which cut into profits, yet progress is being made. They are only given a 1/2 cent stock valuation.
Both of the above resellers are like seedlings and barely noticeable. But it's not because the loyalty industry is seen as being non-glamourous. There are successful players and their stock prices reflect this. And there still are good opportunities out there, despite the maturity of the loyalty industry. Futura proved this with the auto sales/service market. Futura can't compete against the larger players, but can still form important partnerships with them.

To get to the next level as Futura management wants, what will it take to escape gravity? Restructuring the company, making changes to its marketing strategy and forming that all important partnership. I still believe all are in the works. If it begins this week then ok, but changes are on their way. The buyback of the processing division, actually bodes well. Why would Futura want this asset unless it will be important to the company for future operations
It's been quiet, but I don't see anything stopping. It's reasonable to assumethat more dealerships have been signed on, but are yet to be launched. Well I hope we begin to get some answers and confidence back into the company.
