To me it has become very simple. The stock will go up when the company makes a lot of money, enough that they make a committement to pay a dividend, just like the banks do. 

It should also go up when the company starts buying back some of their own shares.  I think a PR came out a while back indicating the company will buy back shares in the open market and retire them.   When that starts to happen and the company sends out a PR stating so,  the stock will go up.  

When these things come to fruision ......the share price will rise
