RE: Grassroots Opposition
RE: Grassroots Opposition Sungoldaz - you have been spending too much time in the sun or drinking the water from Johnson Utilities. So there are thousands of tanker trucks delivering diesel fuel, gasoline every day in more pollulated areas. The risk of an accident is just the same - so your argument is weak. Second, the copper deposit sits half on the state land and half on the town land. The 160 " so called small land" happens to contain half the deposit - since the state land is not controlled by the grassroot movement, Curis will go ahead with that first. Obviously it would have been favourable to do the entire project at once but the grassroot opposition and the sheep town council are influeneced by developers and real estate hedge funds. The state land project will go on for 7 to 8 years. Management decided not to dilute the float in a negative commodites market and got private financing - $40 million dollars is no chump change. Once Curis is profitable they have potentially other projects to move on to (hopefully not in Pinal county) . I am not sure you are aware of the global fiancial problems facing the world and difficult raising capital in this environment. I am not sure they have a financial section in the Trivalley News or Florence Reminder. By the way, why dont you comment on the discalimer on all real estate purchases the state has that limits liability?
