RE: RE: RE: community vote I don't see any reasons why this time around the surface rights should be any more complicated than in the past, except for the fact that this project is getting closer to development and that might have been reason enough for someone to try and take advantage from it or have genuine thoughts against mining. In the latter case, the decision is the community's choice and not an individual's choice.
The delay has been long as you point out, but it was Mr. Barrios' job as community leader to call for a meeting to vote and failed to do so. It seems he is the reason for all this. After a while the community had enough and forced his hand. The vote will now occur, the question is when.
