The reality is that current management has done a rather good job navigating the Company through what will be seen - with the benefit of hindsight - one of the most difficult periods for the mining sector in recent memory.
In case you haven't been paying attention - and clearly you haven't - the mining sector has been absolutely pummeled for the better part of the last nine months. Majors, juniors, explorers, and Moose Pasture scams have all been taken behind the nearest barn and shot.
Thankfully, that appears to be over. The explosion in both gold and the mining stocks last Friday was probably the "turn" for which everyone's been waiting.
What use is telling a story when no one is listening and - most important - no one cares anyway ?
The kinks are being worked out of the start-up process. They've made no unrealistic promises, they've just quietly gone about getting the mine into production.
Would you rather they'd put out a string of PR's that were nothing but hot air and packs of lies ? Just to keep your desperate need for instant gratification sated ?
